GOG eNMEy Paintball Marker Review (2019)

The very first time I heard about this gun I knew that I absolutely had to have it. So, I waited months and months for this beast to be released and once I finally picked up my GOG eNMEy marker, I didn’t put it down for months. Everything about this gun had my attention from it’s slender look to just the way it felt in my hands.

Honestly, I can say that this is one of my favorite paintball machines of all time. Now that I’ve had more than enough time to use the gun and understand it I decided I might as well go ahead and write a review.

Overview

The eNMEy has a pneumatic design, meaning there are no (internally) moving parts or metal-on-metal wear points. While this sounds like something of a technical point, it’s really a boon from a practical standpoint, as it ensures that maintenance is a breeze. All I ever do is open up the bolt/hammer and clean the paint and grease off; I never have to do anything more.

The gun also has a low-pressure regulator, which keeps it operating at around 160psi — again, this pressure is that measured internally, in the valves that feed to the firing chamber. This means it’s quiet — there’s not much extraneous gas being shot out of the barrel every time you pull the trigger — and that it wastes little air; on top of that, there’s not much recoil, since there’s little more than the necessary leaving the gun.

Performance on the Field

I’ll keep this brief, just like a speedball game.

The eNMEy shoots fast, and accurately — I can hit body-sized targets easily from about 25 meters away, at a rate of at least 13 balls per second! It’s super light, so it doesn’t get too tiring carrying the gun around, which is a problem with some other markers.

And, on top of all that, it can take a CO2 tank, in case you don’t have the money to purchase a nitrous tank (which I didn’t at first) or you have problems with yours (which I sometimes do with mine).

Conclusion

As a professional, I know quality when I see it. And I have to say, the eNMEy is quality. It’s fast, it’s accurate, it’s efficient, and it’s user-friendly. Of course, there are faster, more accurate, and more efficient markers out there, but they’re not geared towards beginner-to-intermediate players.

If you’re not advanced, this is definitely a marker worth looking into. Also, even if you are advanced, I truly think this is a quality back-up marker to have in your arsenal.
